Required Pre-Service Foster Parent Training Classes
These are the required training classes to receive licensing.
Upcoming Training Sessions:
June 26 – July 31, 2025 |
6:30-9:30 pm on Thursdays Hybrid
The first and last meeting are in person at Temple Terrace, United Methodist Church and the others are live on Zoom online.
Homework is done on your own time between meetings.
- Advance pre-registration and pre-evaluation is required before starting training
- Some sessions are required to be in person, others are online.
- Online, virtual classes require participants to have a computer or i-pad/tablet w/internet access and equipped with camera and speakers
- Online, virtual classes require completion of session quizzes with a minimum score of 80%
- Dates, times and locations are subject to change without notice
- All pre-registered participants will be notified of scheduling changes
- Space is limited
- There is no cost or fee for this training
